Hey there! I'm Kian
I’m a headshot photographer based in Cardiff, and I recently graduated from the University of South Wales with a BA (Hons) in Photography.
Alongside headshots, I also work as a wedding photographer -something I genuinely love.
But what really led me into this side of photography was seeing, first-hand, how important strong headshots are. I have close friends in the industry, so I’ve seen the pressure that comes with getting them right - knowing it’s often the first impression casting directors see, and wanting something that actually represents you.
That’s exactly why I approach my sessions differently.
You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
I’ll guide you through the whole process, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and make sure you walk away with images that feel natural, current, and genuinely like you.
More than anything - I just love that moment in a shoot where everything clicks… when you stop overthinking it and just be yourself. That’s always the goal.

Why I do what I do?
Photography really does feel like my purpose - I know that sounds a bit deep, but it’s true. I genuinely feel like this is what I’m meant to be doing.
I grew up doing performing arts, and I remember how headshots always felt either out of reach or miles away. Don’t get me wrong, there are so many incredible photographers out there, but being on this side of the camera now, I see things differently.
I want to make high-quality headshots accessible. I want people to have images they’re proud of, without it feeling impossible to get them. For me, it’s simple - no one should have to go without.
My Style
My style is all about creating headshots that feel natural, modern, and full of life.
I know you want to show range - different characters, different sides of you and that’s exactly how I shoot.
I use a mix of textured backdrops and colour to bring that out. From soft pastels through to richer, deeper tones, each one helps shape a different look depending on the energy we’re going for
So whether it’s something softer and more natural, or something with a bit more edge - we build that variety into your session.
And then in the edit, I keep everything looking clean, soft, and polished, while still bringing those colours through so your images really stand out.
And equally if you just want a really strong, natural headshot… this works perfectly for that too.
